If your company is suffering losses due to employee theft or customer theft of product, money (weather stealing cash or embezzlement through diverting funds overtly or covertly), or trade secrets it can be financially crippling. If the losses are or become too great it can bring an end to your company.
Theft can also be in the way of theft of time. This type of theft can be through, reporting time that an employee did not work, sleeping on the job, drug activity in the workplace. All of these actions cause a reduction in production and increase the cost of doing business.
Worker’s Comp Fraud is also theft. Fraudulent claims can increase the cost of workers comp insurance.
You or your company should have in place the proper procedures, and policies in place to mitigate and/or stop theft from employees or clients/customers. The policies and procedures should include cameras where needed, POS systems and the proper training in auditing these systems.
Retail, industrial, commercial, food service (restaurants), and any other business is susceptible to employee and/or client theft in one way or another.
If you suspect or you have evidence your company is a victim of employee or client theft we can help.
Our services include
Employee Surveillance
Employee Interviews & Interrogation
Security & Loss Prevention Consultation
In the vast majority of cases, we can collect the evidence you need to terminate employees that have committed theft. And in many cases, we can provide the evidence needed to bring criminal charges against that employee or a client/customer that has committed theft.
With exception of a few limited cases, we do not recommend hiring a private investigator to work under cover as an employee at your business. In many cases this will cost many thousands of dollars and waist a great deal of time. A person working undercover may never get the evidence needed. It is more effective for us to do surveillance and interviews. In the majority of cases with the proper evidence put in front of a suspect you can get a confession. This has become a general consensus across the country with many private investigation firms.
